Craigs House, Stirling

Craigs House was built by Alexander Bowie about 1819 for his Wife's Uncle, Robert Gillies, whose tannery was opposite Craigs House.

The first picture below shows the modern house, which includes the recently added wings. These were built by the Bank of Scotland when they moved their branch there in the early nineteen nineties.

Picture number two shows the entrance to the house while numbers three and four give some detail of the stone carving that decorates it.
